Aurangabad Tourist Places

Bibi ka Maqbara in Aurangabad in India

This monument of Mughal era called a Mini Taj Mahal. Bibi ka Maqbara is a mausoleum of Aurangzab's first wife. This is a replica of Taj Mahal therefore it is one of the hottest tourist attractions of Aurangabad. A small museum is located inside the mausoleum which houses the antiques of Mughal eras.

If you have seen Taj or If don't, but you would definitely like to see the mini Taj.

Panchakki Aurangabad in India

Panchakki (Water Wheel) is an amazing wonder of old engineering, built by Malik Amber in 1695.

It is driven by water that is brought through earthen pipes from the river 6 km away. The gardens and fish tanks here are memorial of Sufi-saint who was buried here in 1624.

This is an important tourist attraction of Aurangabad. Don’t miss the engineering wonder of Mughal era during your Aurangabad tour.

Aurangabad Caves in Aurangabad India

Aurandabad district is famous for caves of Ajanta and Ellora, but city has its own caves too called Aurangabad caves. These caves were carved out of the hillside around the 6th and 7th century AD.

These are total ten caves and all archeological wonders are related to Buddhism. This is a historical place which should not avoid during Aurangabad tour.
