Mcleod Ganj in Dharamshala in India

Mcleod Ganj, a small beautiful hilly town was established as a British garrison during mid 19th century. Today Mcleod Ganj serves as the residence of the 14th Dalai Lama - Tenzin Gyatso. Some important tourist attractions of Mcleod Ganj are residence of the Dalai Lama, Tsuglsgkhang (main Buddhist temple of town), Gompa Dip Tse-chok Ling (a small monastery of the town), and a Library of Tibetan works and Archives.

St. John's Church in Dharamshala India

This famous tourist site of Dharamshala is situated at a distance of 8 km from the main town. The beautiful church lies on deodar forest between the Mcleod Ganj and Forsyth Ganj.

The church houses a monument dedicated to Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy. There is a well tended old graveyard on these grassy slopes.
