Do Drul Chorten Gangtok in India

The Do-Drul Chorten or Sputa is situated in Gangtok. The Do-Drul Chorten or Stupa was built by Trulshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of the Tibetan Buddhism in 1945.

Inside this Stupa there are complete mandala sets of Dorjee Phurba, a set of Kan-gyur relics (holy books) and other religious objects.

One of the major tourist attractions of Sikkim it has a very important Stupa with 108 holy prayer wheels.

Enchey Monastery in Gangtok India

This Monastery is 200 years old, which stands three km away from the city centre.

Literally meaning the solitary temple, the Enchey monastery is worth visiting during the religious dances or 'Chaam' performed in January.
